How to get rid of post-acne dark spots

If you're an acne sufferer, you're probably familiar with all the post-acne dark spots. I mean, what’s the POINT of getting all this fantastic skin care product that clears our acne if we still have to cake on makeup to cover the residual dark spots? I can’t exactly be a spokesperson for skin care if I look like a Dalmatian.

Here are two tricks to brighten up your face more quickly:

1—SPF!

The sun triggers melanin production in the skin—it’s what gives us a tan. The problem (other than skin cancer and wrinkles of course), is that the sun’s rays make dark spots darker, especially where your skin is injured, such as with acne. Wearing sunscreen prevents your skin from sun damage and minimizes the dark spots.

2—Brightening Ingredients!

A skin brightener tells your skin to produce less melanin, which means the darker pigments lighten up—which is great news for dealing with your dark spots. Vitamin C, arbutin and kojic acid are a few fantastic, all-natural ingredients that you can use for lightening and brightening your skin.

Just keep in mind that if you use an anti-acne cream, it’s important to choose a skin brightening agent that doesn’t conflict with the anti-acne ingredients. Y’OUR custom skin care kit will help you with a regiment that takes all of these factors into consideration and gives you a perfect balance of ingredients for beautiful skin!
